Sam Tomkins is reunited in the halves with captain Shaun Johnson for the Vodafone Warriors' final Hunua Pool match against Wests Tigers at the NRL Auckland Nines today (12.50pm).

A virus kept him out of the club's two matches against Gold Coast and Canberra yesterday but he was cleared this morning to join the side.

His return sees Chad Townsend sit this game out while Suaia Matagi and Ngani Laumape also return after being rotated out of the line-up for clash against the Raiders. Moved out of the side to make way for them ar Sione Lousi and Matt Allwood.

The Vodafone Warriors are in a must-win position for this contest and even then it may not be enough.

They play the Tigers first with Canberra following against the Titans. If the Vodafone Warriors win the Raiders will go into their match knowing what they need to do to finish second in the pool.
